Hi, we’re Cassandara and Mark!

After running a business for 25 years in the Northern Territory, managing a team of 25 staff, we knew it was time for a life change. So, we decided to return to our original home - Tasmania.

After being away for 32 years, we decided to settle into this little patch of paradise, Rustic Hut Bush Retreat - an accommodation in North West Tasmania. Now that we’ve settled in, we can’t wait to welcome you to our property.

Our secluded retreat is nestled in the seaside town of Pengiun, at the base of the Dial Range. While it feels like you’re worlds away when you’re staying with us, you’re just 8kms away from the heart of Penguin, and are just a short drive away from beaches, cafes, shops and wineries. 

Your Tasmanian adventure starts right on our doorstep. For those looking to take on the local trails, we are conveniently located near Penguin Mountain Bike Park. And for something a little more slow-paced, the Dial Ranges have some stunning bushwalks for you to explore.
